An empty space
A deserted place
No place coveted
Nothing trumpeted
Found in my chest
A place I detest
The meaning of dark
Black is the mark
Epitome of lonely
Growling and moaning
Bloody, bone cage
To choke back
Black dying rage
An empty space
Under my face
Full of energy
Giving endlessly
A restless pain
A crying shame
Nothing there
Perhaps some air
Quietly instrumental
Pain severely ungentle
Nothing there lives
Only sorrow it gives
And without wings
Among other things
I yield to ponder
A thought out yonder
Maybe it will need
A pair of good feet
And with a heave
Perhaps it will leave
And I’ll rent in haste
This empty place
