The ocean is our abode
But the mouth; a mighty hold
Confined to a small space
We could be here for days
Those dropped in the current
Swallowed in the torrent
Off go our brothers
Yonder a few others
Eaten by the Lion
But no one is cryin’
Father holds us close
Just under his nose
Though he is fasting
Still he is lasting
We have so much trust
In a job that he must
While mother fends away
Both night and day
Death will be expelled
They can’t be held
We are safe from Clowns
And we will never drown
Our beginnings mostly oral
Hidden amongst the coral
Where we gather for school
Together, the golden rule
Interesting take on fish.
