Dear Pluto
Are you cold?
I saw you once
I admired you go by
I never felt so alone
Could you see me
In my distant home?
The cold went to my bone
I stared at you in the sky
Traveling your path far by
I wonder sometimes
Do you need a friend?
You looked so lonely
And your glaring darkness
Put fear in my eye
I weeped a small cry
And shuddered at the thought
Of your landscape to plot
Separated from friends
Drifting in the void
As time releases its hold
On what once was a planet
With nowhere to go
