I don’t believe in harmony
Don’t believe in balance
Don’t believe in Gandhi
Or one last chance
Don’t believe when said
The enemy of god
Is natural born man
I don’t believe in kingdoms
Or the Ku Klux Klan
I don’t believe in chiefdoms
Don’t believe in doctrines
I don’t believe in covenants
Don’t believe in blessings
I don’t believe in miracles
Don’t believe in promoting
When it’s better to support
Don’t believe in salvation
Or the humble petitioning
Of celestial dictators
Don’t believe in the success
Of poverty of spirit
Or that pain and mourning
Are a call to comfort
Don’t believe that the meek
Shall have a new home
Or that a few chosen some
Can inherit the earth and sun
Don’t believe in being fed
Righteousness over bread
Don’t believe a lifetime of sin
Is worth eternity in hell
Don’t believe god deserves mercy
Or that only His sons
Are the pure in heart
Don’t believe weeping
Is a prelude to laughter
Don’t believe in genocide
When we all must die
Don’t believe in hobbits
Wizards or witches
Or the changing of times
Months or seasons
Not much do I know
Or profess to believe
I’m not a follower
And I hate to lead
For all life is dear
And equal to me
