She loves eating grapes
She likes their funny shapes
She never eats in haste
There’s nothing wrong with that
They won’t make her fat
She’s cultivated and refined
Can’t keep them off her mind
She loves eating grapes
She’ll do what it takes
Even climb mountainous capes
She’ll never do without
She always wipes her mouth
Watch out for the drapes!
She loves eating grapes
They grow in her dreams
She wonders what they mean
She puts them in her flakes
No need to pump the breaks
There’s nothing here at stake
She loves eating grapes
She can’t always wait
Sometimes early; sometimes late
Red, purple, or green
They get washed clean
There’s a bag in the fridge
She hid from the kids
And when she goes to the store
To get some more
Not that it’s a chore
For there’s nothing she hates
She just loves eating grapes
